Autism Care Advocates Support Medicaid Fraud Crackdown, Emphasize Protecting Patient Access

American autism care professionals are voicing their support for government initiatives aimed at combating Medicaid fraud, asserting that the alleged misappropriation of millions in federal funds has detrimentally affected both taxpayers and children with autism who depend on these crucial services.

A collective of autism clinicians, behavioral therapists, and families of children with autism are publicly endorsing the administration's resolve to hold individuals accountable for the suspected exploitation of the Medicaid system.

This group, known as the Autism Families Alliance, identifies itself as a national advocacy body dedicated to supporting Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) providers and the families who rely on their services. Its primary objective is to guarantee that every child and family has access to high-quality care without encountering unnecessary obstacles, reduced availability, or funding reductions.
