Actress Jessica Alba has been making the most of the warmer months, recently offering her followers a curated glimpse into her August activities. The 45-year-old star shared a collection of images and a video, capturing everything from leisurely bikini days and family outings to golf sessions and intimate moments with her boyfriend, Danny Ramirez.
Her Instagram post, captioned "August so far 🍒👙🌺💗," began with a striking close-up selfie. In the image, Alba sported an animal-print string bikini, posing indoors with the expansive ocean visible through windows in the background.
Summer Style Spotlight
Alba's tiger-striped two-piece was complemented by a selection of layered gold necklaces, elegant hoop earrings, and sleek burgundy sunglasses. Her hair was neatly pulled back, and she gazed directly into the camera, showcasing her relaxed summer style.
Beyond her swimwear, the "Fantastic Four" alum also traded sandy beaches for the greens. During a golf excursion, Alba was photographed alongside a friend, both seated on the grass in matching black sleeveless golf dresses featuring crisp white collars.
She completed her athletic ensemble with a black baseball cap and sunglasses, playfully flashing a peace sign. Her friend mirrored the style, opting for a wide-brimmed straw hat and white sunglasses to complete her look.
Cherished Family Time and Developing Romance
Family moments were also a prominent feature in Alba's summer recap. One heartwarming beach photo depicted her eldest daughter, Honor, 18, playfully stretched across her mother as they reclined on a board in the sand.
The Honest Company founder appeared in a patterned bikini, while Honor wore a green-and-white striped string bikini paired with a baseball cap. The mother-daughter duo enjoyed their time on the beach, set against a backdrop of lush greenery and imposing cliffs. Honor is Alba’s eldest child with her former husband, Cash Warren. The former couple also share daughter Haven and son Hayes.
Alba also included a candid snapshot highlighting her relationship with Danny Ramirez. The photo showed the couple laughing together at an outdoor table. Alba's hair was styled up, and she wore gold under-eye patches along with a patterned cover-up. Ramirez sported a black T-shirt and a baseball cap, as they both held matching bowls. Fresh fruit and a line of limes were arranged on the table before them as they shared a smile.
The couple's romance first garnered attention in July 2025, with their relationship officially confirmed later that year when they made a joint appearance at the Baby2Baby Gala. Since then, Alba and Ramirez have increasingly shared aspects of their relationship publicly. Alba notably referred to Ramirez as "my love" in a birthday tribute, expressing gratitude "for loving me through every chapter."
Just last month, Alba posted several bikini photos from a vacation with Ramirez in Tuscany. During their trip, the pair were seen relaxing by the water, paddleboarding, and enjoying time aboard a boat.
Another beach scene was featured in the summer collection. A video clip showed Alba from behind, walking barefoot from the sandy shore into the ocean, clad in a white bikini. Gentle waves rolled towards the coast under an overcast sky.
Reflections on Love and Public Life
The actress has previously shared her evolving perspective on love. "Over time, I’ve learned to embrace every version of how love can show up," Alba remarked in an interview with Elle in May. She elaborated, "Love shows up in so many different ways, and it’s not always grand gestures. Sometimes it’s just holding space."
Alba articulated that her understanding of love has matured beyond the idealized romantic narratives often depicted in films. "It’s not always a movie or a rom-com," she explained to the publication. "Sometimes love is just sitting there when someone’s not feeling well and rubbing their head, or just allowing someone to rage and giving them space. But still being there and knowing that nothing they can do can push you away."
She also acknowledged the inherent challenges of maintaining personal relationships while living a significant portion of her life in the public eye. "I can’t control [that] everyone has a camera now and the ability to [record] you," she told Elle. "You kind of feel like you’re in the zoo when you’re out in the wild."
Alba noted that social media platforms have provided her with a degree of agency over her personal narrative. "The one thing I’ve been able to do is try and control the narrative as much as possible through my own social media," she stated. "I found that’s the only place where I feel like I have control over the narrative of how my life shows up."
